go deep into programming and learn everything, and watch movies and pretend you are a hacker, fake it till you make it.

As someone who is currently studying in an It field and actually knows what he is talkin about, I gotta say that you definitely have alooooot to learn if you want to start Pen-testing! You need to understand alot of IT basics first:

-Learn Bash
-Learn Powershell
-Learn how Networking works and how IPv6, IPv4, MAC Adresses work. Things like subnet ting should be an easy task for you.
-Learn about different OS and how to properly use them.
-Learn about all sorts of Programming languages (front end and also back end)

etc...etc...etc...

there's just alotta basic things to understand about the IT field before you even start to think about becoming a pentester and it takes YEARS not just a couple months or weeks to be an "okay" pentester
